The ancient Greeks a culture rich and grand,
Were known for wisdom, art, and martial might.
Their gods and heroes held a high command,
A pantheon of legends shining bright.
Even after the trials they endured,
The Greeks remained a people strong and true.
Their faith and courage never were obscured,
Their spirit burned with passion, bold and new.
But in their tales, a darker side did lurk,
A world of monsters, curses, and despair.
The Fates, who spun the threads of every work,
Could bring both joy and sorrow, love and care.
But even when the shadows closed in tight,
The Greeks could face the darkness with their light.
